The Rand Construction team successfully extended the MSC Coega container yard by 18,600m². Additionally, bulk filling and layer works were completed for a 4,650m³ reinforced concrete hardstand. Perimeter lighting was enhanced with the installation of spotlight masts, and a new stormwater reticulation system was implemented on site. Other works included a flora and fauna search and rescue operation over 20,000m², bush clearance across the same area, installation of 460m of barrier kerbing, and the rehabilitation of embankments and verges.
