Reports To – Financial Manager
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
- Possess strong verbal, written communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel – BuildSmart and Candy will be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills
- General experience in the building and civil engineering industry will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Processing from source documents to TB
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintaining cash books
- Debtors/creditors
- Maintaining asset register
- Installment sales
- Monthly reports
- Reconciliation of creditors
- Processing GRN’s and supplier invoices
- Checking prices according to quotes
