Location – Port Elizabeth

Reports To – Workshop Manager

Purpose of Position – To provide general office and administrative support. Duties include filing, data capturing, record keeping and assisting with day-to-day office tasks. Ensuring compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures and workshop requirements.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience in an administrative role – preferably in a plant or machinery environment
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in English – Afrikaans proficiency will be advantageous
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle correspondence (emails/phone calls) with suppliers
  • Perform general admin tasks
  • Capturing job cards
  • Booking accommodation and arranging living out allowances
  • Maintain workshop stock and consumables
  • Submit overtime sheet for mechanics
  • Weekly and monthly tracker reports
  • Performing any other functions requested by management
